Hooray! It's summer!
I love the seasons! I love them all, and I love them very much because I believe that each season holds its own magic. Here in Germany, we are lucky enough to experience the changing seasons in all their splendor. "Yesss," you might think, "We haven’t had a proper summer or a proper winter in ages. Back then, we built snowmen and spent our summers by the lake or at the outdoor pool." "Yesss...," I would reply, "that’s not entirely true. In the year Astrid Lingren was born (that is, December 1907), it was the warmest winter on record. It was so warm that strawberries were still growing in the forest. And if all you do is complain, you haven’t understood a thing. The seasons are so wonderful and beautiful that there’s simply no reason to complain."
But now it’s summer, and that’s a good thing! The days are warm, the nights are longer, the mood is better, and all we have to do is live in the moment and enjoy it.
I have put together a summer to-do list. If you’re not quite sure how to fully enjoy the summer and need some ideas, let it serve as your inspiration.

I have been working on a book for almost a year now. It will be a "Guide to Happiness" paired with a little nature handbook. The book will accompany you through the year with plenty of drawings and tips. It doesn’t matter whether you live in the city or in the countryside—this book motivates and inspires everyone to enjoy the year. It offers tips for rainy days, ideas for warm summer nights, inspirations for the winter season, all in harmony with nature. I made sure that every page becomes a visual experience. Stay tuned! It’s going to be wonderful! <3

There you see me picking strawberries. The beautiful flowers and fruits are another reason to love summer unconditionally. I may not have a green thumb, but you don’t need one when you’re out gathering berries. Just be mindful of the fox tapeworm and pick the berries at hip height instead.
